I joined this gym just 3 weeks ago, and since 12 days they are suddenly closed without any prior notice or refund. I have tried calling all phone numbers, emailed them, and went physically to the gym office many times, but no success. Their toll-free number in Mumbai doesnt work either. I called their corporate office in USA, and someone directed me to their 'Solutions' helpline after which no one picks up the phone. Really disgusting. What goes around comes around, who knows someday these suckers will need help and no one will pick up the phone..
I was working for Anytime Fitness until very recently and left as I wasn't paid for 3 months. The USA operation is not connected to the Indian operation. The company in India is owned by Chandan Lunawat. He has many police complaints against him and hasn't paid the staff for 3 months, Head office in Mumbai has been closed because not paying the rent and many suppliers are chasing him for money. The company is in a big mess because of this man. The USA brand is good but have been cheats as well. it is sad for industry that this man has given bad name in India fitness.
Since I suffer from blood pressure it is imperative for me to exercise daily. The management has closed the place due to reasons best known to them. But I have got a raw deal because my fitness is crucial. Strict action should be taken so that such incidents are not repeate
Thankfully i never joined this gym coz i saw in reviews that the same scam hapenned in US i think in 2008. Also franchisee is independent of the main anytime fitness gym. This is really bad, guys we should stand against such stuff so it never happens again. This is really ridiculous and is theft of our hard earned money.

I left a good job to join anytime fitness and havent been paid for the 5 months that i have worked for the company.The owner Chandan Lunawat has already got enough cases registered against him at the powai police station where he also resides(powai).I was given paycheques which have bounced and have lodged a complaint against the same at the station,there has been no action from the cops and Mr.Lunawat has had an intent to cheat from the beginning.Head Office at HCC house has been shut down due to non payment of rentals.Mr.Lunawat still roams around in lavish cars and lives in a plush apartment at powai,with no action taken against him.Whats with the legal system of this country.All fake promises to all his staff and members ........Needs to be taken to task.

All those who need to lodge a complain against Chandan Lunawat.He already has enough cases registered against him and the cops are not paying much heed to it.He needs to be put behind bars n hammered.
I have paid for an annual membership but these mother fuckers didnt opened the gym, its been 10 mnths nw. Could any1 give me their no. In india... Plz help me
the true story of Anytime fitness India the promoter had invested around 30 crore plus and Sbi has funded to tune of rs.40.00 crore total income generated by the company was to tune of Rs.2.40 crore, it failed due to lots of reason one of them is the employees has cheated the company and enquires are on, i fail to understand the mentality of people by investing 30 Crs what did promoters got of it nothing but lots false propaganda the people are ex staff of the company who them selves have the company and are now making false complaints it is sad for member the promoters had refunded the fees this is truth if anybody has any problem please write on clunawat@gmail.com

Mr. Chandan Lunawat is no trustful at all. I worked for him and his company at the time (KR Enterprises - 205/A,Sentinel, 2nd floor, Hiranandani Gardens, Mumbai) in 2005 in Brazil and I haven´t received my money. I can´t remember how many times he promised to pay me and didn´t. I just hope that next time people google his name before doing business with him. And to Mr. Lunawat: what goes around comes around.
