Anytime Fitness Fraud Pune
The Anytime Fitness Centre in Pune, India, suddenly closed down on the 28th of April 2011 and there is completely no information forth coming on why they shut down or if and when they will re-open. There was no advance notice on this closure and I came to know of this when I went to the gym on the 30th of April 2011. They had taken money from us in advance and the trainers and managers are now not in communication. Emails to the address ‘administrator@anytimefitness.co.in ‘as given on the official website has gone unanswerable. I know they have other centers in India like in Chandigarh and Mumbai and I will recommend carefulness while dealing with these people who have taken money from us and seems to have disappeared.

Same here :( in Mumbai. We paid full membership and 3 month fee in advance. And now the numbers go not available. Even the phone number on main website goes temporary unavailable

They ripped me off too. They got me to sign up, then they NEVER bothered to show me how to use the equipment. They certainly showed up on my bank acct every month however when the payment was due!! Thieves in every store that they have!
we members of anytime fitness pune goin to lodge police complaint tomm that is tuesday .
The same thing happened in Chandigarh.
I got a call on 12th afternoon that the Gym will be closed from 13th to 23rd May for Maintenance then I got a SMS with same message in the evening.
Now they are closed duping a lot of people.
Count me as another victim ,I paid a full lifetime membership fees along with monthly fees and now all i am doing is waiting for the gym to be opened which i know it wouldnt happen ....Lets take a step

I too am one of those from Pune who got duped. Is there a list/forum where we all can come together and lodge an FIR. I have spoken to Pramod, Shailja, etc..but only once. They don't even pick up your calls these days. - Krishna
We're four members of the same family and we have paid a big amount as registration fee. The gym at Pune has suddenly shut down. We don't know what to do. If anyone gets any kind of notification, please do let everyone know.

Hey! Exactly its not even a month and even in Nagpur its shut off! Even here they collected as high as 8500 INR from almost 1200+ ppl, and suddenly they closed down from 15th. I think its Indian counterpart is fraud,because this US based fitness center has presence in almost all Countries and Even Actor Suneel Shetty is one of the Director inn India (as seen on their website) infact he is the one who inaugrated both Pune and Nagpur Gym, Even i had paid them 8490 but guess this fraud in Nagpur is of Over 1 Cr. Lets see what Police can do as some ppl have already loged a police complaint against them.

All those who need to lodge a complain against Chandan Lunawat.He already has enough cases registered against him and the cops are not paying much heed to it.He needs to be put behind bars n hammered.
Anytime fitness Amritsar shares the worst fate as the center sould not even open and yet more than 125 memebers registered and paid their dues...The staff has not been paid any salary since february 2011 and spent money from own pocket for promtional material, All staff has also been cheated with false promises. The Owners Chandan and Pratibha Lunawat should be publicly flogged for cheating all. He is now merrily fooling others through his company on www.krcpl.com. Is there no justice or law system for such people? Courts and police use their muscle only on the middle class with no contacts. Others like Mr Lunawat merrily escape thumbing their nose at all systems.
